Our orthopedic team is led by Dennis B. Zaslow, D.O., a board-certified expert in spinal, trauma and pain management procedures. We offer state-of-the-art outpatient surgical procedures, including:

• DISC nucleoplasty for herniated disks.
By using radiofrequency energy with a saline solution, tissue is removed safely and easily from herniated disks. Removing these swollen tissues greatly reduces the pressure on the herniated disk, resulting in far less pain.

• Trigger-point therapy.
A solution is injected into chronically sore and tender muscles, then the muscle is compressed with sustained pressure, resulting in long-term muscle relaxation

• Manipulation under anesthesia.
This non-surgical technique, which is covered by most insurance plans, involves a coordinated approach by an orthopedic surgeon and chiropractor. Manipulation under local anesthesia provides effective relief for neck, back and joint pain, muscle spasms, and other acute and chronic conditions.

• Percutaneous discectomy.
A minimally invasive technique that provides rapid relief from many types of painful spinal conditions.

• Facet joint injection.
This is a very precise technique for improving movement and reducing pain in specific areas of the neck and spine.
